Paul Fishburn

Chief Operating Officer

Paul Fishburn is the President of the Healthcare Group at Outlier, while also holding the leadership roles for Outlier’s People function (HR), finance, sales and service center, supply chain and other portions of the overall operations. He has built his own businesses, worked with Fortune 500 companies and helped lead overhauls of established brands. Paul’s leadership and acumen have been a key contributor to the success of some of Outlier’s strongest brands. For the last four years, Paul has been serving primarily as the Chief Operating Officer at the Outlier Company Passport Health where he helped implement a data-driven approach that has seen over 200% growth in revenue and a doubling of clinic locations.

Before joining Outlier, Paul gained valuable franchise experience as a Controller for McDonald’s USA with responsibilities in the oversight of financial standards of over 300 locations. Paul also served as the Vice President of Finance at Mollen Immunization Clinics where he oversaw revenue cycle management and associated operations. As an independent consultant, Paul spent several years working with companies across a broad spectrum of industries and markets including publishing, AR/collections, direct sales, non-profits, aerospace and real estate, helping those organizations optimize finance and operations processes.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts in History-Political Science from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas. He received his MBA from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He enjoys cheering on the Sun Devils and the Denver Broncos, traveling, reading and spending time with his family.
